ABOUT THE LEAD TEACHER

Dr. Chelsea Harmon

Hi! I'm Miss Chelsea, I'm a developmental psychologist and researcher of parent-child interactions, learning (cognitive development), and the developing brain (neuroscience). I'm eager to share my expertise is child development with my community in Bellingham. I used to be an assistant teacher for a Montessori preschool and fell in love with the teaching method for toddlers and young children. I'm also passionate about the outdoors, being creative, and fostering friendships! I hope that by starting a preschool in the Samish Crest neighborhood in Whatcom County, I can help meet the needs of nearby families with a high-quality Montessori-inspired preschool program.
